Well, I had been deciding when and if to get a new kitten to keep Herman company.  I decided it was a good idea, but I thought I’d wait till school was out in a month to go looking.  But . . . my boyfriend and I were in Petsmart yesterday and they had some shelter animals and there was this beautiful gray kitten who looked right at me.  My boyfriend said, “Let’s get her now!” It was like she had been waiting for us all along.  I’m excited that Herman will have a friend now.  We’re taking her home tomorrow.  So exciting!  I’ll post pictures soon.  We’re going to name her Penny.
