Hello, im an avid pine perks ponts collector, and i recently bought a 7 lb. bag of feline pine that must have been from the old packaging.  there are no pine points on it from what i can tell.  is there any way i can get points for this?

thank you,

The first time I heard people talking about pine perks points I had no idea what the heck they were talking about. Even after being on the forum for a few months! We only recently started seeing the new packaging down here, and even now my last FP purchase ~2 weeks ago were all in the old packages… no points. I’d love it if we could redeem the old ones for points too, but I guess we have to just start up with the new ones… *sigh*

I have the opposite problem, lots of Pine Perks Pts, but can’t find anywhere on the site that I can redeem them!

The Pine Perks Points are on the side of the 4 lb. box of Feline Pine Scoop (Clumping). I have not seen them on the bags, either big or small.

Can someone tell me where I can find out how to redeem points? I used the URL on the side of the box (felinepine.com) and it redirected me to naturesearth.com.

Sorry Cindy, that only takes you part of the way. On the Natures Earth FP home page you have to mouse over the “Our Products” tab and scroll down for “Pine Perks”. Better yet, just go here: http://www.naturesearth.com/specialoffers/ That page shows you all your perk-y options and has the link for redemption form. I’m saving up for the sifting box. Since I’m not sure it will be big enough, I’d rather get it when it’s free. I’m a loooong way off though, since most of the bags I’ve been buying are the old variety.

Speaking of which, there ARE points on the bags, but only on the NEW bags, the ones that look like the boxed FP. The Pine Perks Points are on the bottom right corner of the back of the bags. The old FP bags are darker green and don’t have the big white areas on them… AND don’t have any points to redeem. *snif snif*

Thanks Charlene, found it! The sifting litterbox measurements are the same as a very, very small litterbox I used when fostering kittens. Can’t imagine it would be practical for the bunch of adult cats I have now. I sure wish the manufacturer would make a larger size, the concept looks good.

I have been using the clumping litter for about a year and love it. However when I began there was an offer for buy 10 bags get one free. I have been saving my receipts and proof of purchase, but looked for the form, and now they have changed it to “Perks points” and discontinued the free offer. My litter does not have these points. So all my work was for nought.
Not a very good company policy to have an offer and discontinue it for loyal customers who buy it every week. At $13 a bag, it would be nice to get the offer back!

I’ve never used the clumping litter and never saw the offer, but I’ve worked in retail/retail mgmt for a long time… many different companies, but mostly the same policies. Unfortunately most offers like this typically have an expiration date, like a coupon. It might just be that the offer has expired. BUT… it wouldn’t hurt to email the folks at FP and let them know of your frustration. If the offer ended recently and you still have all the documentation, they might still be able to grandfather you in. Companies love getting brand loyalty and word of mouth is always important, so I’d definately give it a try. You’ve got nothing to lose from it and you never know what might happen.

I do know one of the pine perks offers is a frequent buyers program that reimburses you $$ for perks points. If nothing else, they might be able to convert your barcodes into perks points. Each barcode is for a certain product and size, so they can tell which item you bought. All they’d have to do is convert each of your saved barcodes to the number of perks points that corresponds to that size bag. I don’t know how many points you need for that offer, I’m saving up for the sifting box and it’s a looooong long way away, especially when my main source is still using up the bags in the old packaging… sans perk points. : ( And although I have a few saved here and there I haven’t been keeping all my barcodes and receipts, so I can only grumble about it. *grumbles some more*

I don’t think so… I think you needed reciepts for the previous offer vfm was talking about, the buy 10 bags get one free deal. I’ve never saved my reciepts for pine perks because I never thought you needed them. Let’s go see…

*wanders off to official site*

Ok, the first offer listed on the perks page is for the free bag rebate for new users. Since they’re refunding you the cost of your bag, of course you’ll need to send in the receipt as well as the UPC barcode. To redeem your Pine Perks Points all you need is to cut out the perks points, print out the redemption form, choose what prize you want, and send in the form and points. No receipts neccessary. : D Now if only I had enough for that sifting box…

I just found out about perk points and the only item you need the receipt for is the 200 point, 4.50 rebate.  I bought the litter box and my cat is linebacker size and diabetic so he pees like a racehorse, so I will let you guys know if the box is big enough to be practical. I am so tired of scooping sawdust, I hope it works. This is the only litter that keeps the smell under control, though, so I am a lifelong customer.

The litter box arrived and we have done a two week trial and it works great--even my 15 lb cat can easily fit in this box. Cleaning is much easier. The only thing is that you can’t put too much litter in it because then it doesn’t shake easily--the sawdust gets blocked by too many pellets.

Thanks for the head’s up! My one cat should be fine, but if your 15 pounder is a linebacker, the I apparently have one the size of the whole defensive line! “The Refridgerator” Perry himself, just in feline form.  : P I haven’t weighed him in a while, but he’s easily pushing 20 lbs, if not going over the edge. Mommy needs to get new batteries for the scale, for herself as well as the cats! Haven’t been particularly motivated there though…

I wouldn’t mind adding pellets more often, but here’s the big question: Do you think it’s deep enough and not so tippy-prone that my big guy could park his front paws up on the rim to pee up against the wall without knocking the whole thing over?
